To clean the optics:

Using water and Liquinox, scrub the optics using a soft toothbrush.

Sonicate the optics in water and Liquinox for 5 to 10 minutes.

Rinse the optics parts using 18 MΩ or Optima LCMS grade water.

Sonicate the optics parts in 18 MΩ or Optima LCMS grade water for
5 to 10 minutes.

Rinse the optics parts using Optima LCMS grade methanol.

Sonicate the optics parts in Optima LCMS grade methanol.

Blow the optics parts dry with nitrogen gas.

Reverse the steps above to reassemble the optics and reinstall the
assembly into the MS.
