chips manually for use on Ion PGM

platforms. To accommodate the larger chip size, Ion Proton

and Ion GeneStudio S5

sequencer users must:

• install the Ion S5

™

/Ion Proton

™

Rotor and Buckets (Cat. No. 4482578).

• test the minifuge to confirm that no liquid is lost during centrifugation.

before using the minifuge to load chips for the first time.

Note:

The following protocols may also be used to convert the Ion Chip

™

Minifuge

back for use with Ion PGM

™

sequencing chips.

Grasp the existing rotor and pull straight up to remove the rotor from the motor
