2. Disconnect cables from the measurement interface board and
motherboard.
3. Unscrew the four mounting screws and lift out the transformer
assembly.
4. Install the new transformer by following the previous steps in
reverse.

Use the following procedure to replace the radius tube ( Figure 7–19 ).
Equipment Required:
Radius tube assembly
Hex driver, 9/16-inch
Hex driver, 7/64-inch
Equipment Damage
Some internal components can be damaged by
small amounts of static electricity. A properly grounded antistatic wrist
strap must be worn while handling any internal component.

1. Turn the instrument OFF, unplug the power cord, and remove
the cover. Channel A and Channel B have the same operation for
replacement.
2. Loosen the two screws of the radius mounting block using a 9/16-
inch hex driver.
3. Loosen the two mounting screws on the measurement head
assembly. Remove tube by slightly turning side-to-side, while
pulling.
