8.4 Cooling (standard in Calibra Cool model)
Products with cooling installed can during summer time give you an extra pleasant indoor climate. When cooling is installed, the cooling
menu icon
is visible in the heat pump display.
To view and change actual cooling settings:
1. Press on the Start screen to open the Menu screen.

8.5 Cooling without indoor room sensor (standard)
The cooling function will be activated automatically when in cooling season. (= Cooling seasonal start shall in this case be set to the
outdoor temperature from where cooling is normally required.)
Desired cooling supply is the target temperature for the controller to supply and circulate to the cooling system when the heat pump
is producing cooling.
The end user will be able to adjust the value only within the end user limit min and end user limit max set by installer.
Important: The end user limit min must be set with regards to the system build up and expected humidity to avoid water condensa-
tion issues in the property and on pipes inside the heat pump.
8.6 Cooling with indoor sensor (accessory)
If an indoor room sensor is installed and activated for cooling, this will affect the cooling function. To allow cooling the following two
criteria shall be met:

Cooling season

Indoor temperature exceeds the desired indoor temperature for heating (temperature on start page) + the set value for Passive
cooling room sensor offset (d2 degrees)).
(The seasonal cooling start temperature shall with room sensor controlled cooling be set to the outdoor temperature from where cool-
ing should be permitted (and start when the room temperature exceeds set value). The "cooling sensor room offset" temperature can
be adjusted in the cooling menu when applicable.
Desired cooling supply (min) is the
minimum target temperature for the controller to supply and circulate to the cooling system when
the heat pump is producing cooling.
The end user will be able to adjust the value only within the "end user limit min" and "end user limit max" set by installer.

With an installed room sensor, the controller will also strive to keep the set indoor tempe Cooling room offset. If the cooling
power is found to big by the controller (=room temperature gets lower than set room tempe offset) the actual cooling supply
line temperature may be automatically increased, and thereby the target for the heat pump may not always be the setting for the de-
sired cooling supply (min).
