5.4 Typical application (4-pipe system):
5.4.1 Task:
•
A heating and cooling system is installed in an office building with separate circuits for
hot and cold water.
•
The room temperature in the individual offices is controlled according to the time of day
and level of occupation.
•
On hot summer days, less cooling is to be used to save energy.
This improves the level of comfort for the office users, as it prevents too extreme a
temperature difference when leaving the office.
