K Surveying

Thales U-Link RTK Base

The U-Link connection is:
1. The radio data/power cable plugged into the radio's unlabeled 15-pin data /

power port. This cable connects the radio to the Z-Max GPS Receiver
Module. When using the Thales U-Link radio, power is supplied from the Z-
Max serial port. In this configuration, an external power source is required for
the Z-Max. Plug the external power source into the external power port of the
Z-Max GPS Receiver Module.

2. The transmitting antenna attached directly to the connector on the Thales U-

Link (Figure 3.15).
