16.Beeper

This option allows you to select which actions will cause
the beeper to sound. You can select one of the following
choices:

Off

(beeper will never sound)

Keys Only

(pressing a key causes a beep)

Alarms Only

(when an alarm is activated)

Keys & Alarms

(beeper will sound when a key is

pressed or an alarm is activated)

After selecting the

Beeper

option from the Setup menu,

use the up/down arrow to highlight the desired choice
and then press ENTER.

17.Clear Memory

This option allows you to clear one of the following data
sets from MobileMapper’s memory:

Track history

: Will clear the track history displayed on

the Map screen from memory

Wpts/Routes

: Will clear all waypoints and routes from

memory

Routes

: Will clear all routes from memory

Reset default

: Will reset the receiver by restoring all

factory defaults

All

: Will clear all memory

After selecting the

Clear Memory

option from the Setup

menu, use the up/down arrow to highlight the desired
choice and then press ENTER. MobileMapper will ask
you to confirm your choice. If you have selected

All

MobileMapper will then shut off. The next time it is
turned on, it will prompt you that it needs to be initial-
ized.
