(a) Installation

- Mounted in the avionics compartment using 4 M6 screws, as per NFL

standard 65211 A

- Precautions: the mounting surface must be electrically bonded and

have the same potential as the antenna and the power supply

grounds.

- The RPU must be installed in such a way as to have sufficient clea-

rance for heat dissipation; it is recommended to install it

vertically so as to facilitate natural convection.

(b) Environment

The environmental conditions comply with MIL STD 810D.

- Operating temperature: from -45°C to + 70°C.
- Storage temperature: from - 55°C to + 85°C.
- Cooling: by natural convection
