4. ANWENDUNG
• Zum Einschalten drücken Sie die ON/OFF Taste. Ein kurzer Signalton ertönt. Auf dem
Display erscheint 188.8, danach zeigt das Thermometer 36.5°C und dann L°C bei einer
Umgebungstemperatur von unter 32°C. Wenn das °C Symbol blinkt, ist das Thermometer
bereit zur Messung.
Zur Abfrage der letzten 5 Messwerte halten Sie die ON/OFF Taste beim Einschalten für
2 sec. gedrückt. Auf dem Display erscheint 188.8, danach 1 M und der letzte Messwert.
Drücken Sie weiter die ON/OFF-Taste, erscheinen die vorangegangenen Messwerte 2 M
bis 5 M.
• Wenn die Umgebungstemperatur höher ist als 43.0°C, erscheint H°C auf dem Display, ist
sie niedriger als 32.0°C, wird L°C angezeigt.
• Geben Sie das Schnullerthermometer dem Kind in den Mund und lassen es mindestens
3 min. lang daran saugen. Ein Zeitraum von 6-8 min. erhöht die Messgenauigkeit.
• Wenn die Höchsttemperatur 32 sec. lang stabil bleibt, ertönt eine Alarmton für 8 sec.
• Entfernen Sie das Thermometer und lesen Sie die Temperatur auf dem Display ab.
• Zum Ausschalten drücken Sie wieder die ON/OFF-Taste. Um die Batterielebensdauer zu
verlängern, empfehlen wir, das Thermometer nach der Messung auszuschalten. Das Gerät
schaltet sich automatisch nach 10 min. ab.
• Wird die Messung aus irgendeinem Grund unterbrochen, wiederholen Sie die einzelnen
Schritte.
5. ACHTUNG
• Überprüfen Sie den Schnuller vor jedem Benutzen nach Rissen und anderen Abnutzungs-
erscheinungen. Bitte benutzen Sie das Gerät zur Sicherheit Ihres Kindes nur, wenn es
völlig in Ordnung ist.
• Setzen Sie das Gerät keinen extremen Temperaturen, direktem Sonnenlicht, Feuchtigkeit
oder Schmutz aus.
• Bitte drehen oder ziehen Sie nicht am Schnuller. Das beschädigt die empfindlichen Sen-
soren und elektronischen Teile.
• Das Gerät ist kein Spielzeug für Kinder. Bitte unter Aufsicht von Erwachsenen verwenden.
• Nur zu oralen Messung verwenden.
• Die Batterie ist nicht auswechselbar. Versuchen Sie nicht, die Batterie zu entfernen.
Bitte entsorgen Sie das Altgerät nicht über den Hausmüll. Geben Sie dieses bitte zur
umweltgerechten Entsorgung beim Handel oder entsprechenden Sammelstellen gemäß

6. REINIGUNG
• Sterilisieren Sie das Thermometer, indem Sie den Schnuller für etwa 1 sec. in Desinfek-
tionslösung (z.B. Alkohol) eintauchen. Die Plastikschutzhülle können Sie für diesen Zweck
als Behälter benutzen.

Achtung:
Das Schnullerthermometer darf niemals komplett in Desinfektionslösung oder
in kochendes Wasser getaucht werden, sonst könnten die elektronischen Bauteile be-
schädigt werden.
7. GARANTIE
• Bei Reklamationen wenden Sie sich an Ihren Händler. Bei Öffnung oder unsachgemäßer
Behandlung erlischt die Garantie.

4. HOW TO USE
• Press ON/OFF button to switch on. An acoustic signal occurs and the LCD displays 188.8,
and then 36.5°C followed by L°C (if the ambient temperature is lower than 32.0°C). When
the °C symbol starts flashing, the thermometer is ready for use.
To recall the last 5 readings, press and hold ON/OFF button for 2 sec. while switching on.
The LCD displays 188.8, followed by 1M and the last measured value appears. Press
ON/OFF button again to recall the preceding values 2M~5M.
• If the ambient temperature is higher than 43.0°C, the LCD displays H°C, if it is lower than
32.0°C it displays L°C.
• Position the pacifier bulb in child's mouth and allow the child to suck on the Pacifier
Thermometer for a minimum of 3 minutes (allowing the thermometer to remain in the
child's mouth for 6 to 8 minutes will provide the most accurate reading).
• If the peak temperature is stable for 32 seconds, the alarm sound occurs for 8 seconds.
• Remove the Pacifier Thermometer and read the temperature indicated on LCD.
• To turn the thermometer off, press the On/Off button again. In order to conserve battery
life, we recommend turning the thermometer off after taking a reading. However, the
thermometer will automatically shut off after l0 minutes.
• If the measurement is interrupted for any reason, repeat the above procedure.
5. PRECAUTIONS
• Examine the pacifier bulb before each use for cracks, tears, tackiness or other signs of
wear. Discard the worn unit immediately.
• Do not expose to direct sunlight, high temperature moisture or dirt.
• Do not attempt to pull or twist the nipple apart from the body or detach button bead as
this will damage the Thermometer's sensitive temperature probe and electronics.
• Never allow a child to play with this product. It is not a toy. It is a sensitive electronic
device and maybe damaged if not used properly under parental supervision.
• Use this Thermometer for oral temperature measurements only.
• The battery is not replaceable. Do not attempt to remove the battery.
6. CLEANING
• The thermometer may be sterilized by immersing the silicone rubber nipple ONLY in steri-
lizing solution such as alcohol. Immerse the nipple approximately 1 second ONLY in the
solution. The protective clip-on plastic shield supplied maybe used as container for this
purpose.

Warning:
The Pacifier Thermometer should never be completely immersed in sterilizing
solution or sterilized in boiling water as damage will occur to the electronic components.

4. UTILISATION
• Enclencher le thermomètre en appuyant sur le bouton MARCHE/ARRÊT. Un bref signal
sonore retentit. L’afficheur indique 188.8, le thermomètre indique ensuite 36.5°C, puis
L°C à une température ambiante inférieure à 32 °C. Lorsque le symbole °C clignote, le
thermomètre est prêt pour la mesure.
Pour consulter le 5 dernières mesures, maintenir le bouton MARCHE/ARRÊT appuyé pen-
dant 2 sec. à l’enclenchement. L’afficheur indique 188.8, ensuite 1 M et la dernière
température mesurée. En appuyant à nouveau sur le bouton MARCHE/ARRÊT, les pré-
cédentes températures mesurées 2 M à 5 M sont affichées.
• Si la température ambiante est supérieure à 43.0 °C, l’afficheur indique H°C et L°C, si la
température ambiante est inférieure à 32.0°C.
• Introduire le thermomètre-tétine dans la bouche de l’enfant et le laisser sucer la tétine
pendant au moins 3 min. Une durée de 6-8 min. augmente la précision de la mesure.
• Si la température maximum reste stable pendant 32 sec., un signal d’alarme retentit pen-
dant 8 sec.
• Retirer le thermomètre et lire la température sur l’afficheur.
• Pour éteindre l’instrument, appuyer de nouveau sur le bouton MARCHE/ARRÊT. Pour pro-
longer la durée de vie de la batterie, nous conseillons d’éteindre le thermomètre après la
mesure. L’instrument s’éteint automatiquement au bout de 10 min.
• Si, pour une raison quelconque, la mesure est interrompue, répéter les différentes étapes.
5. ATTENTION
• Avant toute utilisation, contrôlez si la tétine présente d’éventuelles fissures et autres sig-
nes d’usure. Pour la sécurité de votre enfant, utilisez l’instrument uniquement si celui-ci
est en parfait état.
• N’exposez pas l’instrument à d’extrêmes températures, à la lumière directe du soleil, à
l’humidité ou aux salissures.
• Ne pas tourner ou tirer sur la tétine. Ceci endommagerait les capteurs et les composants
électroniques sensibles.
• Cet instrument n’est pas un jouet d’enfant. L’utiliser sous la surveillance de personnes adultes.
• Utiliser l’instrument uniquement pour une mesure orale.
• La batterie n’est pas remplaçable. Ne tentez pas de la démonter.
Ne pas jeter l’instrument usagé dans les ordures ménagères. Le donner dans un magasin
ou un lieu de collecte approprié pour une mise au rebut conforme à la protection de
l’environnement sous respect des prescriptions nationales ou locales.
6. NETTOYAGE
• Pour stériliser le thermomètre, plongez la tétine pendant env. 1 sec. dans une solution
désinfectante (p. ex. alcool). À cet effet, vous pouvez utiliser la capuchon de protection
en plastique comme récipient.
Attention :
le thermomètre tétine ne doit jamais être
totalement plongé dans une solution désinfectante ou dans de l’eau bouillante, sinon les
composants électroniques pourraient être endommagés.
7. GARANTIE
• En cas de réclamation, adressez vous à votre commerçant. La garantie est annulée si
l’instrument a été ouvert ou manipulé de façon non conforme.
