Final Adjustments

1.

Make a sample cut with front deck and wing decks. If 
front deck is cutting at the same height as wing 
decks, unit is ready.

2.

If front deck is cutting lower, add 1/8 inch flat washer 
to front caster height-of-cut spacer. Add 1/8 inch 
shim to lift arm to maintain proper deck rake.

3.

If front deck is cutting higher, you may have to loosen 
the caster wheel arms and lower the deck to the next 
position. Retighten caster arms, again removing 
shims from lift arms to maintain proper deck rake.

4.

Once the deck is cutting properly, an operator should 
only have to move the 1/2 inch height-of-cut spacers 
to change the height of cut, and the deck rake will 
follow throughout the range.
