ATTENTION!
Damage to the aquarium due to the selection
of an unsuitable installation location.
Make sure that the installation location has
the necessary load-bearing capability.
Permanent location must be strong enough
for at least three times the estimated mass
of the filled aquarium. Information on this
can be obtained in the section entitled
Technical Data
from page 15
Make sure that the installation location is
flat, level and waterproof.
Earthed 220 V - 240 V ~ 50 Hz sockets for the
electrical accessories must be located in the vicinity
of the installation location.
Further information on the installation location
and tips for setting up an aquarium can be
found in the enclosed Tetra brochure.
Tilt the aquarium slightly.
Grip it by the lower frame.
Transport it to the intended permanent installation
location.
Place the aquarium down.
Adjustment
Once the aquarium has been prepared, it can be
decorated according to your wishes. The type of
decoration depends on the specific use. Decoration
suggestions and tips can be found in the enclosed
Tetra-brochure.
Connecting and starting
DANGER
Fatal injury due to electric shock.
When installing electrical accessories, make
sure that the cables are not damaged.
Check the cables for cuts or notches.
Do not operate the aquarium if cables are
damaged.
ATTENTION!
Damage to the cover and flap hinges.
Proceed carefully when removing the flaps.
To connect accessories with mains plugs, you must
first remove the rear flap.
Do this by opening the flap (Fig. A, 5) to an angle of
45°.
Lift the flap carefully.
Remove the flap.
Keep the flap in a safe place.
Insert the mains plug into the cable guide.
Make sure that the mains cables or hoses of any
accessories are also routed through the
corresponding cable guides (Fig. A, 7).
The guides are closed upon delivery.
The caps can be broken out by hand or with a
suitable pair of pliers.
Insert the cable into the guide.
To reinsert the flap, first hook in just one hinge.
Then latch the opposite hinge into place.
Close the cover.
Insert the mains plug for the light into a suitable
socket.
Connect any accessories likewise to the power
supply.
To switch on the day-light, set the light switch (Fig.
A, 4) to position I.
To switch on the night-light, set the light switch
(Fig. A, 4) to position II.
Only insert your fish once the aquarium has
undergone an appropriate run-in phase.
