12.2.3 RS-232C Connection Status Checking

The user can check the USB-to-Serial connection status between PC RS-232C and MTP200B and the s

etting status using the Hyper Terminal provided by Microsoft.

Check the COM port number for the USB-to-RS232C driver using the Device Manager of the PC.

Select Start -> Program -> Auxiliary Programs -> Communication -> Hyper Terminal.

Enter “MTP200B” in the Name field and click the OK button.

Enter the COM port number in the PC for modem connection.

Configure the port as shown below and click the OK button.
