Quick Start
For first operation of DMM-140 blade as
gateway
the following steps are necessary:
a) Connection of front panel cables
For
configuration
connect network cable to port labeled
LAN
For
streaming
connect network cable to port labeled
TS/IP
Connect external
control unit
to port labeled
Handset
b) Connection of rear panel cables
For receiving DVB signals connect coax cable of
LNB
to RF connector labeled
Tuner In
Connect both Power Cables
c) Configuration via web browser
First you must configure LAN port for you network. This can be done using the control panel
When you see Welcome on the
control unit
press Enter to get into the menu
Use the up and down Arrow to toggle inside the menu
Go to
>System >Local Setting
(to confirm selected setting press
Enter
button)
Control Unit: Menu Item >System >Local Setting > IP Adress
Open web browser and enter IP address of DMM-140 blade
Default access data for web browser control is:
- user:
root
- password:
12345
d) Configure satellite settings via web browser
Select Input to get the following configuration menu:

Configure the satellite settings according to your transponder. Here some helpful hints:
- When receiving high band signals (11,8 – 12, 75 GHz) switch LNB 22 kHz on and LNB Freq 10600
- When receiving low band signals (10, 7 – 11, 75 GHz) switch LNB 22 kHz off and LNB Freq 9750
- When receiving vertical signals the LNB Voltage level is 13 Volt
- When receiving horizontal signals the LNB Voltage level is 18 Volt
