WARNING:
Failure to follow these warnings may result in personal injury, electrocution, electrical shock, fire or explosion: Do not use flammable
liquids or operate machine in or near flammable liquids, vapors or combustible dusts. Do not pick up flammable materials or reactive metals. Keep
sparks and open flame away. Keep battery hood open when charging. Disconnect battery cables before servicing machine.
DAILY:
BEFORE
EACH USE
1.
Check battery
meter charge level.
Charge batteries if
necessary. When
disconnecting
charger, always
unplug charger
from wall outlet
first then from
machine.
2.
Install new pad on
machine. Secure
pad with
centerlock.
3.
Make sure dust
bag is installed
and empty.
4.
Check all switches
and motors to
make sure they
operate properly.
5.
Check dust skirt
for wear and tear.
Replace if
damaged.
6.
Make sure dust
skirt touches floor
all the way around.
Adjust skirt if
necessary.
FOR PAD RECOMMENDATIONS, CONTACT YOUR AUTHORIZED DISTRIBUTOR OR SERVICE CENTER.
DAILY:
AFTER
EACH USE
1.
Remove pad and
clean or replace.
2.
Empty dust bag.
Replace cloth bag
if damaged.
3.
Clean machine
with all purpose
cleaner and damp
cloth. Check skirt
for damage and
wear.
4.
Check battery
fluid level in each
battery cell.

5.
Recharge batteries
ONLY if machine is
used 30 minutes or
more.
BATTERY
CHARGING
INFORMATION:
Before charging
batteries, check fluid
level. Level (A) should
cover the battery
plates (B) a 1/4”. Add
distilled water if
needed. DO NOT
OVERFILL.
MONTHLY:
1.
Clean the battery
corrosion from the
top surfaces of the
batteries and
terminals. Use a
strong mixture of
baking soda and
water.
Brush the mixture sparingly over the
batteries, terminals and cable clamps.
Use a wire brush to clean the terminal
posts. After cleaning, apply a coating of
clear battery post protectant to the
terminals and cable connectors. Keep
battery tops clean and dry.
2.
Using a grease
gun, lubricate
grease fittings on
front caster with
Lubriplate EMB
grease (Tennant
p/n 01433--1).
3.
Using a grease
gun, grease the
main wheel
bearings with
Lubriplate EMB
grease.
4.
Grease the scrub
head stop bracket
nut with
Lubriplate
EMB
grease.
5.
Grease drive chain
and check the
chain tension.
6.
Every 250 hours of
use, carbon brush
inspection is
required. The
amber lamp on the
console will light
up when pad motor
carbon brushes
need replacing.
