Never place the appliance in water!
• If the appliance is used in the bathroom,
remove the plug from the socket after use,
as bringing it close to water is dangerous
even if the appliance is switched off.
• To ensure optimal protection, you are
advised to install a differential current
protective device in the bathroom the
nominal differential current of which
should not exceed 30mA (ideally, 10mA).
Ask the installation technician for advice.
• Before connecting the appliance, check that the mains voltage
shown on the identification plate corresponds to that of the
available electric mains. The plate data are inside the bodywork
of the product.
• Do not use adapters, power strips and/or extensions. In the event
that the plug does not correspond to the socket, have a qualified
technician replace it with a corresponding one.
• Comply with the following fundamental rules for using an
appliance:
- Do not touch the appliance with damp or wet hands or feet.
- Do not use the appliance with bare feet.
- To disconnect the appliance, grasp the plug. Do not pull the
power cord or the appliance itself.
- Do not expose the appliance to moisture or weather agents
(rain, sun).
• Always disconnect the appliance from the power supply before
cleaning or maintenance operations and whenever it is not used.
• Do not use the appliance in the event of damaged casing or
power cord or in the event the appliance is not operating properly.
In the event of a damaged power cord, have it replaced by the
authorised assistance service to prevent hazards.
