An even easier way to turn Bluetooth on or off is with the toggle menu in the
notifications screen. Drag the notifications bar down to display the notifications screen
and then touch
Bluetooth
to turn Bluetooth on or off.

Turn off Bluetooth when not in use to conserve battery power, or in places where using
a wireless device is prohibited, such as aboard an aircraft and in hospitals.

Sending and receiving data
Many apps support data transfer via Bluetooth. You can share data, such as contacts or media
files, with other Bluetooth devices. The following actions are an example of sending an image
to another device.
Sending an image
1.
On the Apps screen, tap Gallery.
2.
Select an image.
3.
Tap
→ Bluetooth, and then select a device to pair with.
4.
Accept the Bluetooth authorisation request on the other device.
Receiving an image
•
When another device sends you an image, accept the Bluetooth authorization request. The
received image is saved in the
Gallery
→
Download
folder.
Unpairing Bluetooth devices
1.
On the Apps screen, tap
Settings
→
Bluetooth
.
•
The device displays the paired devices on the list.
2.
Tap next to the device’s name to unpair.
