CRU

1.  Place the CRU on top of the

Transmitter. Refer to Figure 16.

2.  Open the CRU cover by removing the

4 screws on the sides. Locate the 8-
position DIP switch, labeled SW1, on
the main board. Define this CRU as
number 1 in accordance with Table 4.
Then set this DIP switch to the
address that corresponds to CRU 1 in
accordance with Table 5.

3.  Connect the provided 25 pin ribbon

cable DB-25 male connector to the
female socket labeled CRU-RU16 on
the Transmitter and the remaining DB-
25 male connector to the female
socket on the CRU. If the cable has
more than 2 connectors, cut off the
remaining connectors with a scissor.

4.  Using a short coaxial cable terminated

with male BNC connectors, connect
the CAM6 input socket of the
Transmitter to the VIDEO OUT output
socket of the CRU.

5.  Connect all camera output cables to

their corresponding camera input BNC
type sockets (CAM1 - CAM6) on the
rear panel of the Transmitter. Camera
input sockets CAM1 - CAM6
correspond to Receiver Software

Camera numbers. For example,
socket CAM1 corresponds to Receiver
Software Camera 1. Route all cables
conveniently at the rear of the
Transmitter to avoid sharp bends and
excessive stress on the connectors.
