24.3 Installing an app
To install an app, follow the steps below:
1. Go to MENU > Store .
2. Highlight the app you want to install and press
OK
to view the app's details .
3. Highlight the Get button near the top of the screen if it is not highlighted ( GET appears in lower
centre of the screen when it is highlighted.).
4. Press
OK
to start downloading and installing the app. To stop downloading and installing the
app, press
OK
.
5. After the app is installed, highlight the OPEN button near the top of the screen if it is not highlighted
( OPEN appears in lower centre of the screen when it is highlighted.) and press
OK
to open the
app. The newly installed app will be accessible through the MENU .
24.4 Uninstalling an app
To uninstall an app, follow the steps below:
1. Go to MENU > Store .
2. Highlight the app you want to uninstall and press
OK
to view the app's details.
3. Press the right soft key and select Uninstall .
4. Press the right soft key again to start the deletion. You will receive a notification after the app
is uninstalled.
25. UTILITIES
The Utilities folder contains four apps: Calculator , Recorder , Todo , and Unit Converter . These
apps can be your handy tools in case of need.
To open an app in the Utilities folder, Go to MENU > Utilities and select one of the apps in the
folder.
25.1 Calculator
You can use the Calculator to perform basic arithmetic operations.
- Enter a number using the keypad. Press the key to enter a decimal point. Press the key to
enter a minus sign.
- Press a navigation key to choose an arithmetic operation to be performed (add, subtract, multiply,
or divide).
- Press
OK
to calculate the final result.
- Press the left soft key to clear the previous entries one by one, or press t he right soft key to
clear all entries at a time.
25.2 Todo
You can use the Todo app to create, view, and edit your to-do lists. A to-do list is a list of tasks that
you need to do, or things that you want to do. A to-do list can be a shopping list, a list of places to
visit, a list of tasks to do, etc.
As an example, to create a shopping list containing apples, beer, and cookies, follow the steps
below:
1. From the Todo home screen, press the left soft key .
2. Enter a name for the shopping list and press t he right soft key to create it. To create the shopping
list using the default name (List x), press t he right soft key directly.
3. Press the left soft key , enter "apples" in the Task Name field, and press t he right soft key
to save the item.
4. Repeat Step 3 above to add "beer" and "cookies" to the shopping list.
