Chapter 2 Installation

2.1 Hardware Setup

2.1.1 BACK PANEL

The figure below shows the back panel of the
device.

ADSL

LAN (Ethernet) Port
Please see Appendix A—Pin Assignments.
Power ON
Connect the power adapter to the power port.
Attach the power adapter to a wall outlet or other
DC source.

Reset Button
Press the reset button for 5 seconds, then release,
the LED will be flashing for 10 seconds. After
that, the system will reboot to factory defaults.

2.1.2 FRONT PANEL

LAN1/LAN2

Connect directly to your computer, laptop, or
Internet access device.

TEL 1/2

Connect to a telephone for line pass-through.
