5.2 AC Service Connection
Procedure steps:
1. Facing the
front
of the enclosure, remove the access panel on the rear, left-hand side.
2. Facing the
rear
of the enclosure, remove the
knockout you want to use from the top on the
rear, right-hand side of the enclosure.
3. Thread your AC cables through a grommet and
into the enclosure.
4. Insert the grommet firmly into the knockout hole.
5. Strip about 3/8-1/2” of jacket from the ends of
the AC cables.
6. Connect the incoming AC
wire to the left side of the
power block:
•
Line 1 (top)
•
Line 2 (middle)
•
Neutral (bottom)
7. Replace the access panel.
8. Check that all of the seals
are tight to ensure that no
water can leak in.
This procedure is complete.
