guration dialog shown below.
Use this dialog to enable/disable tests and set alarm measurement parameters.
After you make any desired changes, click
Apply
to apply the changes. Click
OK
to apply the changes and close the dialog window.
Information about how to set the measurement thresholds is provided later in
this manual. (See page 63,
CAUTION.
To prevent an SNMP alarm storm from overloading the Aggregator,
you should leave enough range between the Active and Clear threshold to
account for minor signal
fl
uctuations. If the error band is too narrow and the
signal has a lot of
fl
uctuations, a large number of SNMP traps will be sent to
the Aggregator.
