This command sets or queries the fi le format to be used for saved image fi les
when :SAVEON:IMAGe is set to 1.

Arguments
PNG
speci fi es using PNG format for saved image fi les.
BMP
speci fi es using BMP format for saved image fi les.
JPG
speci fi es using JPEG format for saved image fi les.
When specifying the fi le name with this command, use the correct fi le extension
(".png" for PNG format, ".bmp" for BMP format, or ".jpg" for JPEG format). If a
fi le name or path is speci fi ed, the fi le is expected to be located in a directory
relative to the current working directory (speci fi ed by FILESystem:CWD ) unless
a complete path is speci fi ed:
Complete path speci fi cation. If the fi le argument begins with drive designator
(such as C:), then the fi le name is interpreted as a full path.
Relative path speci fi cation. If the fi le argument begins with "." or ".." or has a
fi le path separator appearing anywhere other than the fi rst character position,
then the fi le name is treated as a path that is relative to the current working
directory.
Examples
SAVEON:IMAGE:FILEFORMAT JPG
sets the image fi le format to JPEG.
SAVEON:IMAGE:FILEFORMAT?
might return
:SAVEON:IMAGE:FILEFORMAT
PNG
indicating that the fi le format is set to PNG.
SAVEON:TRIGger
Sets or queries whether to save a fi le when a trigger occurs. You can de fi ne the
trigger using Trigger commands or the oscilloscope user interface.
The trigger will cause the instrument to save an image or a waveform to a fi le,
depending on what you speci fi ed. For example, if you have set SAVEON:IMAGe
to On, and a trigger event occurs, the instrument will save a screen capture.
