The setting state (Edge information at the time of Jitter ON) of Jitter is displayed

on the Data-Waveform window of a View by Channel display.

Frequency

Sets the repetitive frequency of the profile. Accepts a value from 0.015
Hz to 1.56 MHz. Not available if you have selected Gaussian Noise for
the profile.

Amplitude
Unit

Set the profile amplitude and jitter width. For the unit, you can select
either Second or UI (unit interval, 1 clock period in DTG5000 Series). To
specify these, use the peak-to-peak or RMS value, respectively. The
relationship between peak-to-peak and RMS is as follows:
Sine: 1 UIrms = 2

√

2 UIp-p

Square: 1 UIrms = 2

√

3 UIp-p

Triangle: 1 UIrms = 2 UIp-p
Gaussian Noise: 1 UIrms = 12 UIp-p

Because the width of jitter swings the same amount toward the positive
and negative directions, you cannot set it if the amount of Lead Delay is
0. The maximum jitter amplitude will be obtained when the value of Delay
Offset is set as 2.5ns.
