AFG31000 Series Arbitrary Function Generator Specification and Performance Verification Technical Reference

Test records

This manual contains test records that you can use to record the performance test results for your

AFG31000 Series Arbitrary Function Generator. These test records are in the

Test records

(on page

51) section of this manual.
The test records are organized by model number. Some models have different test parameters than

others, so make sure you use the ones that apply to your arbitrary function generator model.
The following list contains links to each of the test records.



Frequency/period test

This test veriﬁes the frequency accuracy of the AFG31000 Series. All output frequencies are derived

from a single generated frequency; you only need to check one frequency point on channel 1.

NOTE.

Record the results of this test in the test record for your model in

Test records

(on page 51).

To verify frequency accuracy:

Connect the AFG31000 Series to the frequency counter as shown in the following ﬁgure.
