Functional Test Procedures

Verify Optical Input

Channels

This veri

cation is done without an input signal.

Equipment required

None

Prerequisites

At least one optical (80C00 series) sampling module must be
installed.

Initialize the instrument:

Push the front-panel DEFAULT SETUP button.

Set the Trigger System:

In the UI application toolbar, select

Free Run

from

the Trig menu.

Select the channel to test:

Push the channel button for the channel to test. The

button lights and the screen shows the selected channel signal.

Verify that the channel is operational:

Con

rm that the following statements

are true.

A trace displays at about center screen.

The Waveform readout for the channel under test shows a value as follows:
