BASIC
APPLICATIONS
General
The
following
information
describes
the
procedure
and
technique
for making basic
measurements
with
a
Type
3B5
Automatic/Programmable
Time
Base
unit
and
associated
amplifier
unit
and
indicator
oscilloscope.
These applications
are
not
described in
detail
since
each
application
must
be
adapted
to
the
requirements
of
the
individual
measurements.
Familiarity
with
the
Type
3B5
and
associated
units
will
permit
these
basic
applications
to
be
applied
to
a
variety
of
uses.
All
of
these applications
are
given
for
Manual
Mode
opera
tion;
however,
they
can
be
adapted
for
either
Seek
Mode
or
External
Mode
operation.
