Video Printer

Connect a video printer to the Video Printer port on the rear panel. Since the

Video Printer port constantly outputs video signals, a hardcopy can also be

made from the video printer. When the [HARDCOPY] button on the front

panel is pressed, the 372 will send a Hardcopy Trigger signal to the video

printer.

Floppy Disk

When the [HARDCOPY] button on the front panel is pressed, the information

being displayed on the CRT will be output to a floppy disk in an EPSON,

HPGL, or TIFF format, with the specified file base name. The format and file

base name must be specified in the UTILITY menu before the [HARDCOPY]

button is pressed. The file extension, .ESC for EPSON format, .HPGL for

HPGL format or .TIF for TIFF format, will be automatically added.

After the output device has been installed, select the hardcopy port and

execute hardcopy as follows:

ăStep 1:ă

Touch the [UTILITY] box in the major selection box to display

the UTILITY menu.

ăStep 2:ă

Select the hardcopy port and set related parameters (see

Table 3Ć40).

Select an output device with the [PORT] selector in the HARDCOPY

section. When you select the GPIB plotter or Disk, another two or

three selectors appear below the [PORT] selector.

Set the parameters with newly displayed selectors.
