4J^)  Power  Cord  R eceptacle—Connects  the  ac  power  source  to  the 

instrument  power  supply.

The  power  cord  protective-ground  connection  is  connected  to  the 
exposed  metal  parts  of  the  instrument.  The  power  cord  must  be 
connected  to  a  properly  grounded  source  for  electrical-shock 
protection.
