Other oven settings
Child Safety Function
This function, which can be selected at any
time, stops small children operating the oven.
To activate this function, touch both the
+
and
–
sensors at the same time until you hear a
beep. You will see the symbol
light up on
the temperature display. The oven is locked.
To de-activate this function, touch both the
+
and
–
sensors at the same time until you hear
a beep, with the symbol
going out.
Oven Light
The inside light will go on:
• When the oven door is open. If the door is not
closed after a certain amount of time, the
light will turn off to reduce power
consumption.
• When any cooking function is set or recipe
selected. The light will turn off after a
cer tain time.
If you want to turn the light on during cooking,
just touch the
+
sensor. Touching it for a
cer tain length of time will cause it to beep and
the light will stay on all the time it is cooking.
To turn the light off, just touch the
+
symbol
again.
Pre-heating is not needed for the other
recipes.
Follow these instructions when cooking with
these recipes:
• First select the recipe, and the oven will
begin pre-heating.
•
IMPORTANT: Do not put the food into the
oven until the signal is given.
• When the temperature set for the recipe is
reached, the oven will emit a signal.
• You can now put the food into the oven.
•
The signal will continue to sound until you
put the food in.
• Finally, it will cook the food automatically
according to the recipe chosen.
Programming and operating the pyrolytic function
Follow the instructions below to run a pyrolytic
cleaning cycle:
1. IMPORTANT: Remove all accessories
(trays, grids, side supports for
the
shelves, telescopic guide rails) from
inside the oven.
2.
Touch the sensor
to switch the oven
on.
3.
Turn the cooking control dial until you see
the word
Piro
and the setting
P
(pyrolysis
programme) on the clock display.
