TIP: Do this only before first time steam is released. After this, steam is released every time you press the hotplates together. If
you press the hotplates together too often without straightening your hair, drops of very hot water will form. Risk of scalding!
14. Hold the appliance at the handle. Always keep a safe distance between the appliance and your body.
15. Part your hair in approximately 4 cm strands.
16. Put the strand in between the hotplates starting at the roots. Gently clamp the hotplates and quickly pull the
straightener down to the tips of your hair.
• Exercise caution when straightening not to touch your body with the appliance.
17. Repeat the above steps to style the rest of your hair.
18. Once you have finished using the appliance, slide the ON/OFF switch right to the 0 position to turn off the appliance
and disconnect it from power mains.
19. Prior to cleaning and storing the appliance, make sure that it has cooled down completely.
20. Clean and store the appliance as described in the “Cleaning and storage” section.
Auto switch off function
: The appliance will automatically turn off if no operation is proceeded within 60 minutes.
