INSTALLATION
CAUTION : For personal safety reasons and preservation of warranty, it is strictly forbidden to open the charger; mains power must only be
supplied to the charger after connection to the battery to avoid risk of electric shock.
3.1 MOUNTING OPTIONS
The charger may be fitted on a horizontal or vertical position. Please pay attention to avoid introduction of water or other corrosive external agents. A free space of
5 cm (2”) all around the charger must be kept for unobstructed airflow.
3.2 CONNECTIONS
- Check if the charger is switched OFF
- Connect first the charger to the battery : connect the red clip on the positive (+) battery terminal, then the black one on the negative (-) battery terminal
- Please pay attention to the quality of your connections; clips badly connected or corroded terminals induce an abnormal heating of the connections,
lowcharging voltages and so a bad charging quality
- Plug the main voltage
- Switch ON the charger
