8.3. CHAIN ALIGNMENT

Carry out the procedures described in paragraphs
7.9. “Disassembling the right and left side
casings”
Working on the right side:
1. Back off screw
a using a 4-mm hex T
wrench.
2. Disassemble the locking bracket b .
3. Using a 4-mm hex T wrench, rotate pivot c in
a clockwise or anticlockwise direction to
shift the pulley to the left or to the right.
To ensure correct alignment of the
chain, move it back and forth and make
sure that there is no noise.
4. After completing the adjustment, lock down
what previously backed off.
After completing this procedure, check
the chain tension as instructed in
paragraph 8.4.
