7.6. DISASSEMBLING THE SADDLE AND RUNNER PULLEY

1. Turn off the machine and unplug the mains
lead from the wall outlet.
2. Slide the seat as close as possible to the
display.
3. Remove limit stop
a by unscrewing its fixing
screw with a 5-mm hex wrench.
4. Remove cap b from the end of the saddle
carriage guide.
5. Back off screw
c using a 4-mm hex T
wrench.
6. Remove the plate d .

7. Disconnect the trailing connector e .
8. Remove the seat and carriage by pulling
backward.

9. Rest the carriage on a work bench.
10. To replace a runner pulley, unscrew the self-
locking nut with a 17-mm wrench holding
the inner screw
g in place with a 6-mm hex
T-wrench.
To reassemble the SADDLE and the RUNNER
PULLEYS, carry out the above steps in reverse
order.
Correctly reposition the cable, so that
the section protected by insulating tape
is underneath plate d.
