7.5. DISMANTLING THE PULLEY, PIMARY ASSEMBLY AND
PRIMARY SHAFT (LEGS MOVEMENT)
OPERATION ACTIONS
Dismantling the
PULLEY, PIMARY
ASSEMBLY and
PRIMARY SHAFT
(legs movement)
1. Remove the BRAKE BELT, as detailed in the relevant paragraph.
2. Block the left connecting rod using a wrench.
3. Unscrew the fixing screw of right connecting rod on the primary shaft
(6mm hex wrench).
NOTE: during the reassembly phase tighten using a torque
spanner set to 40Nm/29.5 Lbf.ft .
4. Remove the fixing screw of the metal bar on the pulley.
5. Screw the connecting rod fixing screw again on the shaft.
6. Use an extractor to remove the connecting rod.
7. Remove the key from the shaft.
8. Unscrew the left connecting rod fixing screw on the primary shaft
(6mm hex wrench).
NOTE: during the reassembly phase tighten using a torque
spanner set to 40Nm/29.5 Lbf.ft.
9. Use an extractor to remove the connecting rod.
10. Remove the key from the shaft.
11. Block the plastic pulley on the frame, using 2 T hex wrench. Unscrew
the ring nut which fix the primary shaft (32mm socket for ring nut).
NOTE: during the reassembly phase tighten using a torque
spanner set to 100Nm/74 Lbf.ft.
12. Remove the front casing support bracket (2 screws, 5mm hex
wrench).
13. Remove the rear casing support bracket (2 screws, 6mm hex wrench).
14. Remove the pulley/primary shaft assembly.
NOTE: During the reassembly phase, check the magnets on the
pulley are at a distance of 6mm from the one mounted on the
frame.
