9 - TROUBLESHOOTING GUIDE
PROBLEMS
• The air conditioner is not
operating at all (the fan never
comes on).
• Insufficient cooling or heating.
• The compressor does not start.
POSSIBLE CAUSES

- Power cut.

- Circuit-breaker thrown or fuse
blown.

- Line voltage too low.

- The switch is on "0" (off).

- Air filter dirty or blocked.

- Heat source or too many people in
the room.

- Doors and/or windows open

- Obstacle in front of the air inlet or
outlet.

- The thermostat is set too high for
cooling or too low for heating.
- The HP pressure switch has cutoff.
SOLUTIONS

- Restore the supply.

- Contact the After-Sales
Department.

- Consult your electrician

- Set switch at desired position.

- Clean the air filter.

- If possible, eliminate the heat
source.

- Close them to prevent outside air
entering.

- Remove the obstacle in order to
provide good air circulation.

- Set the temperature lower (or
higher).
- Check the water circulation, then
reset the pressure switch (see
above).
• Should a too high pressure occur in the refrigerant circuit, the compressor is switched off (22 bar).
The high pressure switch has to be manualy reset. To do so, remove the plastic cap on the top of the unit and press the switch
by means of a screw driver or a pen.
