3.11. CAN BUS Interface signals
The EDM1-IMX6 features two CAN bus interfaces. The CAN bus interfaces are implemented with the
i.MX6 on chip “Flexible Controller Area Network” (FlexCAN) communication modules.
FlexCAN supports the following main features:

Compliant with the CAN 2.0B protocol specification
•
Programmable bit rate up to 1 Mb/sec
Integration of a CAN Bus transceiver and optional galvanic isolation should be incorporated on the EDM
carrier board.

“i.MX6 Reference Manual”.
