1 Push one of the buttons in front of the Carrier to be un-
loaded

. Reset an erroneously pressed button by briefly
pressing it again.
2 When the red LED is flashing and the green LED is
dark, pull the Carrier carefully towards the front and re-
move it from the Worktable
o

3 Place a Carrier with empty Racks onto the
)(
Worktable. Observe the color strips on the Carrier front
and the Front Safety Panel

. Both LEDs are flashing
alternatively.
4 Push one of the interface buttons in front of the re-
placed Carrier until the
red LED stops flashing.
WARNING: Potential Biohazard!
• Consider all clinical specimens, surfaces
or components that contain or have con-
tacted human blood or serum as potential-
ly infectious. Wear gloves, lab coats, safety
glasses, and follow biosafety practices.
WARNING: Risk of Contamination!
• Use caution handling the Carriers to avoid
sample splashing.
CAUTION
If the green LED is lit: Do not try to pull out the Car-
rier.

Do not remove the Carrier as long as the green LED
is lit.
CAUTION
To re-insert a not emptied Carrier:
Make sure the specimens are in their original spots
to avoid crashes and push the interface button
briefly.
