4.5.3
Instrument Fitted with Printer (Optional)
Printer Error
If the protocol cannot be printed, the following message is displayed:
Printer Error
cont retry
Check that the printer is connected to the instrument, switched on and that there
is paper in the printer. When the printer error has been corrected, press
retry
to
repeat the printing procedure.
If the printout is not required, press
cont
to proceed to the standby mode.
4.5.4
Instrument Fitted with Manifold Detection Sensors
(Optional)
Manifold Arm Error
If the manifold arm is not lowered correctly due to the manifold becoming caught,
for example: the side of the wells, the following message is displayed:
Manif. arm Error !
Exit
Press
exit
to remove the error message and return to the standby mode.
Check that the microplate is correctly inserted into the plate support.
Check that the manifold arm is not blocked.
Check if the needles are catching on the side of the microplate, use the Adjust
menu to adjust the positions for that particular type of microplate.

Instrument Fitted with Fill Verification (Optional)
Liquid Not Dispensed
During the Wash procedure
If the instrument detects that one or more needles are not dispensing solution or
non-conductive liquid is being used, the following error messages are scrolled on
the display:
Inadequate Wash!
Exit
Check Disp. Path
Exit
