RED One Power splitter
Features and operating Instructions
D-V XP1 RED One
Power splitter is a sophisticated piece of equipment that has been de-
signed to use with
RED One
electronic camera, keeping in mind the needs of
D.o.P
.s and
those of the
Rental Houses
.
It allows the possibility to extend the running time of the camera, because it has two inputs
sockets for external batteries. When the first is going flat, just plug a second one and go on
shooting for longer time. Corresponding LED will lit.
Plugging and unplugging to
D-V XP1
protects
the camera Power socket, avoiding to dam-
age it through repetitive insertions of the power cable. To repair it means to dismantle the
camera!
Four RS type sockets are available on the right side of Splitter body.
From anyone of them RS sockets it is possible to draw battery voltage, directly.
It allows to use up to four different accessories: Remote controls, Microforce, wireless Iris or
Focus motors, video transmitters, etc. because full battery power is available at the sockets,
without passing through the camera.
Three
RS sockets allow to
RUN
the camera, without pressing camera RED button switch, by
Remote Control.

l: i.e. RUN signal
