Installing rings D and E

Flow ring D attaches directly to the center of ring B
(remove ring C before inserting ring D). The letter
D faces upward. When using flow ring D or E, the
red tubing for measuring the flow of the fan (fan
pressure) connects to ring D.

Putting on the fan cover
Seal off the fan by installing the nylon fan cover over the fan. The
fan is sealed in order to measure the building baseline pressure
during the airtightness test.

Hang the fan speed controller and the DG-1000 on the upper of
the two cross bars using the clamp on the back of the gauge
board. Before connecting the speed controller to the fan, make
sure the switch on the controller is set to “off” and that the
control knob is turned completely to the left (minimum).
