The OQS-CAN Sensor can be used successfully in CAN networks without full CANOpen
functionality. Before using the Sensor within the network the following should be noted and
configured where necessary. Note that you will need to know the current Node ID to
communicate with the sensor; if you are unsure of this value and it has been changed from the
default, you can identify it from the boot-up message issued by the sensor on startup. This will
