The TT1200 can be configured through the setup menu. Settings in this menu applies to all channels in
the decoder.

PSI can be enabled or disabled, see description below.
CA-mode

This mode is used in the Viaccess, Conax, Nagravision and
Mediaguard versions of TT1200. In this mode, the services are
descrambled in accordance with the CA system implemended in
the software of the unit. If the received service is scrambled, a
valid smart card is neccesary. Descrambling status and smart
card information (if available) can be viewed in the
Status
⇒
CA module
menu. Note that it is not possible to select this
mode for an Irdeto version of TT1200.
This mode is used when the received signal is scrambled with a
fixed control word. When
CA mode
is set to
Fixed Key
, the
Smart Card
menu is replaced by a
Fixed Key CA Setup
menu, where the control words are manually entered. Please see
section 5.4.5.1.2 for further information about this menu.
Note that this mode should is only used in Irdeto versions
(software version number ending with ID)
This mode is used when an external module is needed for
descrambling. Currently the Irdeto PCMCIA module is
supported, for TT1200 Irdeto version. Note that it is not possible
to select this mode for Viaccess, Conax, Nagravision or
Mediaguard versions of TT1200.
