ADMINISTRATOR GUIDE
Preparations
Before starting the TANDBERG MPS make
sure the following has been done:
The

System Controller Board
must be
installed in the first slot in the chassis.
Make sure the

Media Processing Board(s)
and the
Network Interface Card(s)
are
interted correctly into the chassis.
MPS 800: Make sure the

Power Unit(s)
are inserted correctly into the back of the
chassis.
Connect the

Power Cable
.
Turning on the MPS
Set the
Power Switch
on the back of the
chassis to
1
.
Startup mode
On the front of the chassis you will see the
•
CPU LED
on the System Controller Board
flashing
On the Media Processing Boards the
•
Power
LED turns green.
The
•
Active
LED is flashing green while
software is being uploaded to the Media
Processing Boards.
In the
•
LCD
(Liquid Crystal Display) you will
see the
logo.
The system is ready for configuration
When both
1.
Power
and
Active
LED’s on the
Media Processing Boards are steady green
And the initial configuration menu appears
2.
on the LCD.
