3.16 Defog 

This function is set using Defog Command. 

Defog function is to get better subject recognition at fog environment.

3.17 Noise Reduction 

The  NR  (Noise  Reduction)  function  removes  noise  (random  noise,  etc.)  to  provide 
clearer images. This function is set using CAM_NR Command. 

This function has six steps: levels 1 to 5, plus off (0). 

The NR effect is applied in proportion to the gain. In bright subjects, the NR effect 
difference between levels will become smaller. 

 

3.18 3D Noise Reduction 

The 3DNR (3D Noise Reduction) function removes noise (random noise, etc.) to provide 
clearer images with focusing on temporal changes of noise. This function is set using 
CAM_NR Command. 

This function has six steps: levels 1 to 5, plus off (0). It should be aware that higher 
level increases afterimage phenomenon against moving subjects.
