Direct PDF Printing
Advanced Printing Tasks
1. Select the Job Options tab within your Printer Properties.
2. Click Private Job
3. Enter the name of the job
4. Enter PIN number to be entered at the Operator Panel.
5. Click OK .
To print a private job:
1.
At the Operator Panel, press the Menu button.
Job Library is displayed.
2. Press Select .
Print and Delete is displayed.
3.
Use the Next button to select how to print the job.
You can choose from Print and Delete, Delete, or Print.
4. Press Select .
The available directories in which private jobs are contained are shown.
5.
Use the Next button to select the directory.
6.
Press Select .
Job numbers in the directory are shown.
7. Use the Next button to select the job.
8. Press Select .
You are requested to enter a pin number.
9.
Use the Next and Previous buttons to change a digit.
10.
Press Select to enter the digit.
11.
Repeat steps 9-10 until all Digits are entered.
12.
Press Select .
You are asked for the number of copies to print.
13. Use Next to enter the number of copies.
14. Press Select .
The job prints.
Direct PDF Printing
The printer’s PDF Direct feature allows you to send a Version 1.3 PDF file directly to the
printer without the use of Adobe Acrobat on the host computer. You can send a PDF file
directly to the printer for printing without using the printer driver. As the print data is sent
directly to the printer, the printing process is simpler than printing with the printer driver.
