Chapter 3 How to Perform Embroidery

In the following, we will explain the steps you need to take before performing an embroidery.

Using any of the following methods, load the design to be embroidered.
• Load from USB memory (USB flash drive)
• Load from Record/Favorite
• Load from PC via LAN

Here, we will explain how a design can be loaded from a USB memory (USB flash drive).

For other ways of loading designs: "4.3 Loading designs from records or favorites", "4.4 Loading a
design from a PC using a LAN cable"

1.

Connect the USB memory (USB flash drive) to the USB
port on the side of the operation panel.

2.

Tap

on the Home screen.

The Design Load screen is displayed.

3.

Tap .

Folders and designs are displayed in the Design List screen.
Tap

to switch pages.

3.2 Starting the embroidery

3.2.1 Loading the design to be embroidered

Use USB 2.0 compatible devices formatted in the FAT/
FAT32 file system.

Caution

Be aware that some USB memory (USB flash drive) cannot
be used due to slight differences in specifications.

Never remove a USB memory (USB flash drive) while
designs are being read from it.
Failure to observe this could result in damage to the USB
memory (USB flash drive) or to the internal data of the
machine.
