112 Customizing your radio
To change the volume of the audible tones between
high or low:
1 Press Menu and select Radio settings > Alert
settings > Indicator level .
(Depending on how your radio is programmed, you
may be able to press a function key to change the
volume of the audible tones between high or low.)
2 Scroll to High or Low and press Select . (The
current setting is highlighted.)
Changing the keypress volume
Whenever you press a key, you will hear a beep to
indicate whether or not what you are trying to do is
allowed:

Allowed: a short, medium-pitched beep.
■
Not allowed: a long, low-pitched beep.
To change the volume of the keypress beeps between
high, low, and off:
1 Press Menu and select Radio settings > Alert
settings > Keypress tones .
(Depending on how your radio is programmed, you
may be able to use a function key to switch the
volume of the keypress beeps between high, low,
and off.)
