6.3 HCS-8600POE
HCS-8600POE is designed based on the Gigabit
Multimedia Congress Stream technology, and is used to
connect the congress main unit, the HCS-8668/
HCS-8638/ 8665 series congress terminals, HCS-1082N
series E-ink electronic nameplate, external Ethernet
switches, etc. At the same time, it supports power for
units. HCS-8368T(/50) can be connected to expand the
number of units.

1. Power indicating light

Switches to red in standby mode;

Switches to blue when operating.
2. RJ45 interface (ETHERNET)

When used for the connection of HCS-8668/8638
series terminals, this port needs to be connected
to Ethernet;

When used for the connection of HCS-8665 series
terminals or HCS-1082N series electronic
nameplates, this port should be left vacant.
3. RJ45 interface (DELEGATE)

Connecting to HCS-8668/8638/8665 Series
Multimedia Terminals, HCS-1082N series E-ink
Electronic Nameplates (via Cat.5e/Cat.6 cable);

Connecting to the Distributor HCS-8368T(/50) to
expand the number of units.
4. Mode Switch (KMX or NORMAL)

When used for the connection of HCS-8668/8638
series terminals, the switch must be set to KMX
mode;

When used for the connection of HCS-8665 series
terminals or HCS-1082N series electronic
nameplates, the switch can be placed in any
mode.
5. 8P-DIN interface (TO MAIN UNIT)

Synchronous On/Off status with main unit after
connecting to a main unit or cascading to another
HCS-8600POE.
