Call Transfer
You can transfer a call to another party:
To perform a transfer:
1.
Press or the Tran soft key during a call.
2.
Enter the number you want to transfer the call to.
3.
Press or the Tran soft key to complete call transfer.
Then the call is connected to the number to which you are transferring.
If you are using a handset, the transfer can be completed by hanging up the handset.
You can cancel the transfer before the call is connected by pressing the Cancel soft key.
Conference
You can create a conference with other two parties using the phone’s local conference.
You can create a conference between an active call and a call on hold by pressing the
Conf soft key. The T21P E2 IP phone also supports network conference.
Note
The T21P E2 IP phone supports up to 3 parties (including yourself) in a conference call.
This is the default method of conference called Local Conference.
To set up a local conference call:
1.
Place a call to the first party.
2.
When the first party answers the call, press the Conf soft key to place a new call.
The active call is placed on hold.
3.
Enter the number of the second party and press , , or the Send soft key.
4.
When the second party answers the call, press the Conf soft key again to join all
parties in the conference.
Network conference is not available on all servers. For more information, contact your
system administrator.
