2. Release the asterisk (*) and pound (#) keys.
The telephone will remain in this mode for approximately 10 minutes. It will
then complete its initialization procedure and go on-line.
FlexSet Software version
To see the FlexSet Software version on the display:
3. Press the key below the upper right hand key; the version number will appear on
the telephone display.
Key Test
To test the individual keys:
4. Press the keys one by one. The LED on each key will light briefly and then go out.
On telephones with a display the following message will appear:
where XY is an internal hexadecimal number.
Volume Button
To test the volume up/down button, only on telephones with a display:
5. Press the up or down button. The display shown above (in Key Test) will appear.
There is no LED to light.
Speaker Test
To test the internal loudspeaker:
6. Press any key on the numeric keypad. This will activate the Key Test above and
will also cause the loudspeaker to beep. ( Note : there are no LEDs on the numeric
keypad.)
On-Line
To cause the phone to complete initialization and go on-line.
7. Remove and replace the telephone line cord. Do not press any keys until the
telephone completes its standard initialization procedure.
